Overview

Inaugurated on October 24, 1987, the cableway spans 1,166 meters across the Yangtze River. It connects New Huaroad (Chang'an Temple) in Yuzhong District to Shangxin Street (Longmenhao) in Nan'an District. Originally serving as public transportation, it has evolved into a popular tourist attraction, offering breathtaking views of Chongqing's unique cityscape and the mighty Yangtze River.

The Experience

The cable car features orange-colored cabins with panoramic windows, accommodating approximately 50 passengers per trip. The journey offers spectacular views of:
