Raffles City Chongqing
Overview and Architecture
Raffles City Chongqing, located at 8 Jiesheng Street in Yuzhong District, stands as a remarkable architectural masterpiece between Chaotianmen Square and Jiefangbei. Designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, this $24 billion development spans over 1.12 million square meters, representing Singapore's largest investment project in China. The complex opened in phases throughout 2019.

The complex features eight towers reaching heights of 350 meters and 250 meters, characterized by their distinctive curved designs resembling sailing ships. The glass facade reflects sunlight, creating a harmonious blend with Chongqing's mountainous landscape and riverfront setting. The most striking feature is the Crystal Sky Bridge, a 300-meter horizontal skyscraper connecting six towers at 250 meters above ground.
