History and Geography
Originally named "Mo Island" during the Ming Dynasty's Yongle period due to its dark soil, the island was later renamed "Wheat Island" because of the wheat-like grass that once covered its surface. Today, this 15.71-hectare circular island sits 150 meters offshore, providing visitors with spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding seascape.
