- Two days: one west or central route and one east-side mountain route.
- Three days: add Sandiequan or a lower-mountain academy day without racing both.

Transport and base
Lushan Railway Station, Jiujiang and the mountain gates are different nodes. Scenic buses solve routes inside the managed area but do not erase last-bus or lower-mountain transfer gaps.
Choose accommodation by the first departure and onward connection, not by a broad area name.
Weather and margin
Cloud and fog are part of Lushan, yet they can remove famous views. Rain makes stone steps slippery; summer brings crowds and winter can bring ice or sector closures.
Where to go next
Jiujiang is the transport gateway. Continue east to Jingdezhen and Wuyuan or west to Nanchang, keeping mountain exit time separate from rail departure.
