Anyang is the strongest next stop after Zhengzhou for travelers who want archaeology to form a continuous story: Shang capital and oracle bones first, the development of writing second, and a separate Han–Wei burial chapter outside the center.

Transport and base
Anyang and Anyang East are different stations. Yinxu sectors, the writing museum and Cao Cao Mausoleum lie in separate directions; fix the exact museum entrance and return.
Weather and margin
Museums provide a year-round core, while archaeological parks are exposed to heat, cold, rain and air-quality changes. Reservations and Monday operation need live checks.
Where to go next
Continue south to Zhengzhou or north toward Handan and Beijing. Red Flag Canal is another full road day, not an automatic fourth attraction.
