Xingyi
Xingyi is a southwest Guizhou base for three distinct karst experiences: cultivated peak forest at Wanfenglin, vertical canyon walking at Maling River, and a broad reservoir landscape at Wanfeng Lake.

The editorial image supports orientation; weather, access and live operations can differ.
How many days
- Two days: Wanfenglin and Maling River Canyon.
- Three days: add Wanfeng Lake with a confirmed boat or viewpoint route.
- Cut first: the lake when road and boat details remain vague.
Choose your route
- Wanfenglin early or late for field light and village movement.
- Maling River Canyon as a stair-and-waterfall day with current entrance choice.
- Wanfeng Lake only through a named dock, boat or road viewpoint plan.
The anchors that earn the trip
Transport and base
Xingyi airport, city, Wanfenglin villages, canyon entrances and lake docks are separate. Fix the exact entrance and return; generic attraction names are not adequate pickup points.
Weather and margin
Rain strengthens waterfalls and green fields but raises slip and closure risk. Rice-field appearance changes through planting and harvest; promotional green is not year-round.
Where to go next
Return toward Guiyang by air or rail-road connection, or continue into Yunnan only with a clear long-distance plan. Libo is another region, not a nearby add-on.
